Based in New York State, Power Modules Inc. is the company behind Belles Amplifiers, run by Dave Belles. The Solo 3 pre-amp and 5 power amp, auditioned by us first at Welland Village (home of Tony Sallis, the distributor) and then in our own systems at home, the Belles immediately impressed in their presentation and scale, texture and timbre were all fantastically musical and real. The lower register is authoritative and rich. This pre-power combination (pure Class A into A/B) at 65 watts per channel is absolutely fabulous.
