Esoteric UX-1Pi SACD/CD/DVD-Audio and DVD-Video Multi-Channel Disc Player

 As the top-end of "UX" series, the UX-1Pi's advanced 14 bit video processing and custom video output stage enables DVD up-conversion to high definition "HD" output at 480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. This is achieved from your existing DVD collection, without having to buy new software! (HD level output requires connection to a compatible display). The UX-1 Limited 6N copper wiring, WBT connectors and D/A converters are also included.

The UX-1Pi adds the following incremental updates to the base feature set of the UX-1 Limited:

1. P-03 version VRDS-NEO mechanism
   - Refined VRDS-NEO transport mechanism driven by a coreless spindle motor and featuring ESOTERIC?s neodymium magnet system.
   - High precision ceramic ball bearing for smooth turntable rotation.
   - Disc tray shutter mechanism for reduction from external noise and airborne contaminants.
2. Fully tuned video components including refined video output circuits.
   - The latest 14 bit / 216 MHz video D/A converter chip ADV 7324 from Analog Devices.
   - The latest digital video scaling chip LSI ABT 1018 from Anchor Bay Technologies.
   - Genesis FLI2310 (DCDi), I/P converter.
3. 1080P HDMI terminal (version 1.3 compliant*)
   - The UX-1Pi is equipped with the latest HDMI version 1.3 terminal (Maximum HD scaling: 1080P).
   - HDMI output: 480i / 480P / 720P / 1080i / 1080P
   - Note: The HDMI terminal does not support Super Audio CD (?SACD?), audio signals. (SACD audio is output through analog 5.1 channels, 2 channel or i.LINK connections).
4. I.LINK terminal includes ESOTERIC?s flow rate control system.
5. Remote control with illuminated keys for low light or no light environments.
