DIABLO is based on the previous 4810 architecture with a more basic and affordable design. Although no compromise have been made when carefully selecting the components, Diablo offers a reduced output power as well as limited upgrade options.

Anyway all the essential functions are available : volume, balance, mute, input selector, tape, direct mode for home theater use or biamplification. The majority of the fonctions can be controlled by the front panel and some of them by the remote only. We have not forgotten the build quality and styling : all of which contribute to that intangible thing known as “pride of Ownership”.
Musicality is not a surprise because DIABLO uses the 4810 basis. A specific research was lead to find the right balance between a refined sound like the low power amplifiers and the “force” supplied by the high power models. The result is a subtle mix of air, fluidity and body particularly rare with in this category of amplifier amplifier.
Technical specifications use a balanced solid state circuit : bipolar transistors for the input stage and voltage stage, MOSFET transistors for the output stage working only in current amplification. A new polarisation circuit has been developped. Surface mounted devices (SMD) authorize short print circuit board tracks and minimum interactions and improve shield and ground.The volume is adjusted by resistors switched by transistors and controlled by a microcontroller. The linearity and L-R interlinearity is better than 0.1dB. The software makes DIABLO more userfriendly too, when you change the source, the volume increases gradually. DIABLO is now equipped with the new R1.0A speaker/amplifier interface circuit already introduced by 481O.
